THE KIMMY NU EXPERIENCE

My first event was a Sweet 16, and more than 20 years later, I still love what happens when the right music meets the right moment. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to DJ weddings, schools and universities, corporate and brand events, nightlife, private celebrations, festivals, and concert stages across the country and internationally.

Along the way, I’ve been named Best Hip-Hop DJ at the 2017 Slumfest Awards, nominated for Hottest Midwest DJ in 2018, and received Top 100 Female DJs in the World nominations from 2021–2025. My work as a DJ and On-Air + TV personality has also included affiliations with 24 Scientist, Addicted Dopeness, and Nerve DJs.

I’ve shared bills with artists like Cardi B, DJ Spinderella, DJ Drama, Young MA, G Herbo, Tech N9ne, DJ Charlie Chan Soprano, Teyana Taylor, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Freedia, Ella Mai, Kevin Gates, Young Dolph, 21 Savage, and more. Those experiences have taken me into all kinds of rooms, but they’ve also reinforced something I’ve believed from the beginning: whether it’s five people or 5,000, the room still matters.

I listen. I pay attention. I get to know what matters to my clients and stay present enough to know when the room needs more energy, when a moment needs space, and when it’s time to play that song.

That’s the K Nu experience: good music, thoughtful preparation, genuine care, and the confidence of knowing I’ve got you. From our first conversation to the final song, I want you to feel taken care of, so when the moment comes, you can simply be in it.

I’ve got the vibe.
